It all started with a small group of us who saw an opportunity to build a brand awareness of Internet Society in Ontario. This is more akin to the works of ISOC Manitoba and ISOC Quebec as we embrace concrete concerns facing the 14 million Ontario residents. The work commenced in July 2025 and concluded with acceptance by the ISOC staff and other chapters who deemed our application having merit. A major part of collaborative effort has been to review the current and future plans of ISOC. hank you for your interest in ISOC Ontario and we hope you consider becoming a member of our ISOC Chapter.
We are always looking for new members. We have two working committees 1. Education and 2. Community Networking . Each of these working groups align with the statements by ISOC in the 20230 Action plan.
