With over 10 years of experience working with leading service providers, I currently serve as a Senior Delivery Specialist at Rogers Canada, specializing in network infrastructure.
Glenn McKnight, Secretariat
Glenn McKnight has been active in Internet Governance since 2004 with WSIS and subsequent IGF, ICANN, IETF and ISOC activities. As a former ISOC BOT and one of the founders of ISOC Canada he brings substantial knowledge of the relevance of ISOC in the Internet ecosystem. Past PIR Advisory Council Member. He is a cofounder of NASIG and VSIG , providing free multilingual training in Internet Governance. Since 2009, he has been an active member of ICANN ATLARGE with NARALO. He has an MA from York University
Zulgar Nayen, Treasurer
Zulqar Nayen is a highly experienced Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer with over 8 years of expertise in creating engaging, interactive, and accessible digital learning experiences. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA, he possesses a unique blend of technical knowledge and strategic L&D skills. Zulqar has a proven track record using tools like Articulate 360 and Adobe Suite to develop solutions for diverse clients, including significant experience in the financial and medical sectors. He is deeply committed to accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA) and skilled in LMS administration and leveraging AI for learning development. Zulqar believes the ISOC Ontario Chapter can significantly enhance digital literacy and accessibility within the province.
Monamee Afroze Ishika
Monamee Ishika is a PMP and PMI-CPMAI–certified program and project manager with over a decade of experience leading complex initiatives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and social impact. At World Education Services (WES), she manages the WES Gateway Program, supporting refugees and forcibly displaced individuals in accessing credential evaluation for education-to-employment pathways. Monamee brings a strong foundation in finance and execution, with experience across banking, global programs, and technology-enabled environments. She holds an MBA in Finance and a Master’s in Management, and recently completed Executive Education in Venture Capital and Private Equity. Monamee is also passionate about responsible, human-centered adoption of AI and actively contributes to community conversations on how emerging technologies can be applied thoughtfully to solve real-world problems.
